mselect is looking for an HR Manager for an international FMCG client in Baghdad. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.
Job Objective
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and training and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with Solico Iraq's overall strategy and goals
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate selection, interviewing, and onboarding
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with industry standards
- Design and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to employment practices
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations to senior management
- Manage the HR team, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure HR practices align with overall business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employment law, and industry best practices
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and training and development
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
