Job Purpose:
The Marketing Specialist, reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager, will play a pivotal role in executing marketing and digital strategies to bolster the company's market presence across the Middle East region. The role involves overseeing all marketing and digital efforts, analyzing customer insights, strengthening acquisition and retention strategies, and spearheading cost-effective business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing and digital plans for campaigns, promotions, and branding events
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of marketing campaigns
- Create an annual campaigns calendar aligned with regional trends and local relevance
- Manage vendor relationships and explore new partnerships to support marketing objectives
- Allocate funds in the annual marketing budget based on sales forecasts and other variables
- Collaborate with partners to develop content and strategy for the marketing calendar
- Utilize client data for markdown planning and promotions timing
- Coordinate with sales team on product focuses and promotion timing
- Provide marketing insights to ensure locally relevant communications
- Assist in developing and implementing membership marketing and sales strategies
- Maintain accurate membership records and facilitate member events
- Represent the company in community activities to enhance awareness and attract members
Qualifications:
- Master’s or bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
- 4-10 years of experience in hospitality or sports facilities management, preferably in a senior leadership role
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in commercial marketing, with a proven track record in market development
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and social media management tools
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with solid presentation and documentation skills
Reporting Structure:
The Marketing Specialist will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager within the organization and lead the marketing assistants.
