JOB OBJECTIVE
The Business Development Manager will manage sales of the company’s products and services within a defined geographic area, province or country. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Collaborates with sales team for establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company
- Determines sales targets and deals with reputed customers at a legal platform for the betterment of business by adding Goodwill to the company
- Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives
- Remote working is supported
- Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Sales Head/ CEO
- Manages and coordinates with sales support staff to develops sales
- Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company and interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit
- Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in company’s products
- Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results
- Collaborates with sales team to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines
- Reports directly to CEO
- Francophone countries
- UN, Military Sales, MOI, Security Industry, VIP’s, Cash in Transit, Ambulances
- Proficiency in French and English language is a compulsory and mandatory
- A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or a minimum of seven years of related experience in similar sector; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
