Job Purpose
An experienced multi-disciplinary designer with a passion for design and people, you will create impactful design solutions to convert strategic business opportunities and immerse the audience in the sharing of marketing thought leadership. You thrive on working as part of a collaborative team, have a creative and business-driven mindset, and can communicate your creative voice in a business setting. You’ll need to be able to conceptualize, plan and execute visual communication materials as well as co-ordinate with internally with other departments (Marketing / Tech / Digital) to meet their needs and vision. You must be able to interpret a creative brief and come up with creative solutions to tackle specific problems, turning it into a solution which exceeds expectations. It is imperative that you can align the brief and expectations with the new trends and technologies. You will be expected to participate in brainstorming and play a key role in coming up with concepts and ideas that stand out in the market. You will be trusted with acting as brand guardian for the company, making it your responsibility to ensure all guidelines are met and implemented. You must be able to perform digital imaging tasks which include photocomposition and re-touching, print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork - all using appropriate software and format.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify design opportunities tied to marketing platforms/ campaigns and develop creative 'big ideas' that address strategic marketing and business needs
- Create design solutions for show casing marketing campaigns, user interfaces and payment devices to convert business opportunities
- Design unique client engagement experiences to drive business outcome, e.g. sponsorship activation
- Develop visual narratives to tell innovation story to clients in a variety of formats, e.g. print, digital, moving images etc
- Lead in the design of client co-creation workshops and immersive experiences
- Be the subject matter expert and point of contact for guidance around the application of brand and campaign standards as well as client co-marketing materials
Requirements
- Degree in a design-related discipline
- Design experience across a variety of industries and challenges. Corporate environment experience is a plus
- Adept at telling a story through visuals and integrated materials, and able to think outside the box
- Possess a strong design point-of-view but also able to relate with empathy and view multiple perspectives
- Understand and advocate for the user experience
- Proven ability to influence and partner with internal and external stakeholders to innovate and create effective design programs
- Curious by nature and not afraid to ask questions
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and presentation skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at a time
- Self-starter, client-oriented, comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on, outcome-orientated work environment
- Expert knowledge in design programs across a variety of media (print, motion, video, web) including (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Keynote)
