mselect is looking to hire an HR Supervisor for an international FMCG client in Baghdad, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English, and Arabic is a must.

Job Objective
As an HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions and ensuring a positive employee experience. You will collaborate with the HR team and other departments to promote a productive and inclusive work environment.

Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify top talent
  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
Employee Relations:
  • Act as a point of contact for employees' questions and concerns, providing guidance and solutions when needed
  • Promote positive employee relations by addressing conflicts and fostering a respectful work culture
  • Support performance management processes, including performance evaluations and feedback
HR Administration:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HR databases
  • Assist in the administration of benefits and leave programs
  • Generate HR reports and metrics as needed
Compliance and Policies:
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct HR audits and ensure adherence to established policies
Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with the HR team to design and deliver training programs
  • Support employee development initiatives, including career planning and growth opportunities
Skills and requirements:
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization
  • Partner with the HR team to develop and implement diversity and inclusion programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist or a similar HR role
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
