Role Summary:
The Project Manager is a key player in ensuring successful project delivery, acting as the primary point of contact for clients. You are responsible for driving project engagements within our Service Delivery Approach framework. A critical aspect of this role is ensuring clear and concise communication, including effective management of issues and project escalations. Acting as the sole point of contact, Project Manager establish trusted relationships with the customer's team, enabling them to optimize their valuable internal resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Setup and Initiation:
- Conduct a kick-off conference call with key stakeholders, establishing a strong foundation for the project
- Develop a high-level project schedule to provide a clear roadmap for project execution
- Formulate a comprehensive Project Management Plan, detailing strategies and approaches
- Conduct a kick-off meeting with select members of the project team, ensuring everyone is aligned with project objectives
- Validate project setup consistency across multiple projects, ensuring uniformity in approach
- Validate that all work is within scope of SOW
- Document changes to scope and execute the change control process
- Maintain a comprehensive list and status of project work products
- Uphold the integrity of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Create and meticulously maintain the schedule and status of work products
- Exhibit flexibility in schedule adjustments as the need arises
- Thoughtfully allocate resources to the project schedule
- Effectively communicate the impact of scheduling conflicts between multiple projects
- Accurately report actual time and expenses for resources, ensuring transparent financial tracking
- Proactively monitor and manage project time and expenses, adhering to budgetary constraints
- Provide comprehensive reports comparing actual project costs versus budget, facilitating informed financial decisions
- Conduct thorough reviews of invoices for accuracy, safeguarding financial integrity
- Offer multi-project consolidated reporting, presenting a holistic view of financial performance
- Define and meticulously execute a formal task and/or work product review process, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Establish End Customer's project readiness, a crucial step towards seamless project execution
- Thoughtfully document requirements for operational readiness, seamlessly integrating them into the project schedule
- Skillfully facilitate task and/or work product review meetings, driving excellence in project outputs
- Diligently monitor and manage product risks and issues, proactively addressing potential roadblocks
- Rigorously monitor and manage technical project risks and issues, safeguarding project integrity
- Thoughtfully track and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Thoughtfully identify and assign qualified resources, ensuring optimal project team composition
- Determine and meticulously document End Customer resources required for the project, aligning expectations
- Integrate End Customer resources into the project schedule, fostering seamless collaboration
- Provide comprehensive weekly status reports, offering transparency on project progress
- Conduct regular weekly status meetings, facilitating open communication within the project team
- Thoughtfully facilitate requirements gathering meetings, ensuring alignment on project objectives
- Skillfully facilitate design meetings, driving clarity on project deliverables
- Thoughtfully facilitate meetings for major project decisions, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned
- Provide multi-project consolidated reporting, presenting a unified view of project performance
- Secure Customer signature on Timesheets for T&M engagements, ensuring accurate billing
- Conduct a thorough project closure conference call, reviewing project achievements and outcomes
- Host a formal project closure meeting, celebrating project success and acknowledging contributions
- Skillfully facilitate a "Lessons Learned" session, capturing valuable insights for future projects
Criteria for Consideration:
- ITIL or PMP certification
- 5-6 years of Project Manager experience in IT
- Background in Infrastructure
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English
