JOB PURPOSE
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant's operations to deliver an exceptional dining experience in line with our 4-star standards. This role includes overseeing staff, ensuring high levels of customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff including servers, hosts, and kitchen personnel
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively
- Address and resolve staff conflicts and disciplinary issues
- Always ensure exceptional guest service, handling complaints and special requests with professionalism
- Monitor and improve service standards to meet or exceed 4-star rating expectations
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and retention
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, coordinating with vendors and suppliers
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
- Maintain high standards for food quality and presentation
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant’s physical condition, including kitchen and dining areas
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures and standards
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional events and strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations
- Utilize guest feedback to drive improvements and innovative practices
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management role within a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
- Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure
- A passion for fine dining and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
