mselect is looking to hire a Sales Manager for a real estate client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years in commercial real estate sales or leasing with proven leadership experience. Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic is a must.
JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Manager will lead the sales team in executing a strategic plan to lease the retail, restaurant, and entertainment spaces within our luxury plaza. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with potential tenants, negotiating lease agreements, and ensuring that all interactions reflect our commitment to excellence and our brand’s reputation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in managing teams, and a proactive approach to conflict resolution and maintaining a positive team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a sales and leasing strategy to attract high-end tenants for retail, dining, and entertainment spaces
Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training of new Sales Representatives
Lead and manage the sales team to meet leasing targets and maintain high performance
Set and monitor sales targets and performance metrics
Build and sustain relationships with luxury brands, boutique retailers, and fine dining establishments
Analyze sales performance with key metrics to guide strategic decisions
Ensure all sales activities align with the company’s brand values and standards
Conduct property tours and presentations to highlight the plaza’s features
Negotiate lease terms to balance tenant needs with company goals
Collaborate with marketing on promotional materials and campaigns
Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to refine leasing strategies
Manage the leasing pipeline and maintain accurate records
Resolve conflicts within the team and with tenants to ensure a positive work environment
Provide regular updates to senior management on leasing progress and market insights
Compose professional emails and communicate the brand across various channels
Update the website with current sales information and real-time unit availability
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related field
Years of Experience:
5+ years in commercial real estate sales or leasing with proven leadership experience

Strong ability to set and achieve sales targets, guide, and mentor and train a sales team, and implement effective sales strategies
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
Proficient in CRM systems for managing sales processes and forecasting
Strong analytical skills for identifying trends and sales patterns
Effective planning, organization, problem-solving, and time management abilities
Self-motivated and results-driven with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with local real estate laws is advantageous
Ability to consult on sales strategies during various project phases
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic is a must
