Key Responsibilities
- Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts
- Enter data into accounting software or databases
- Maintain hard copy records
- Prepare financial statements that detail business income and expenditures
- Manage vendor invoices and monitor bank account balances
- Complete tax documentation
- Prepare the End of Year Financial Report for auditing purposes
- Verify the accuracy of business accounts
- Record any discrepancies in financial records
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets
- Prepare employee wages
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background
- Minimum of 3 years in Bookkeeper roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, particularly Excel
- Strong understanding of both spoken and written English.
- Proactive attitude with a 'can do' mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Good organizational skills
- Basic understanding of financial regulations
