mselect is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead a thriving dairy company in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. The ideal candidate must have 10+ years of experience in senior management roles, with at least 5 years in the food or dairy sector. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must. 
 
Job Overview:
The CEO will be responsible for leading the company’s overall strategy, operations, and growth within the food industry, with a particular focus on the FMCG sector. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in managing Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities and a demonstrated ability to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and ensure long-term sustainability
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision to align with the company’s growth targets
  • Manage and guide senior leadership in areas such as finance, operations, production, marketing, and human resources
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences, provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
  • Implement best practices in financial and operational management, ensuring robust financial performance
  • Lead efforts to enhance product quality, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive leadership role, preferably in the food or dairy industry
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, performance management principles, and key business functions (operations, HR, marketing, etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial data, preparing forecasts, and setting financial goals
  • Experience in Iraq or holding Iraqi citizenship is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in senior management roles, with at least 5 years in the food or dairy sector
  • Experience working in Iraq or the GCC region is highly desirable
