Job Purpose
Plans and directs sales force activities to maximize profit from all entities and all segments of the market. Direct the management staff in meeting sales objectives and goals. Responsible for maximizing the potential sales volume of all segments of the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; and analyzing trends and results
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and company services
- Implement sales strategy & programs by developing field sales action plans
- Maintain sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
- Plan to ensure achievement of company targets, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
- Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly
- Provide on-the-ground support for the sales dept as they generate leads and close new deals
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them
- Provide monthly reports of field sales success and communicate VOC data to the CEO
- Sell to existing and potential direct customers as well as provide sales support to partners (other facilities) to participate in closing and order or to facilitate and add value to the selling process
- Evaluate and drive the company’s participation in the various sales channels, Market Sales, Event Booking Centers, electronic lead channels, etc
- Maintain data relative to the company, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions
- Prepare to report as needed
- To always promote a good company image to customers and colleagues
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hotel and Restaurant Management
- Experience: Over 6 years of experience in sales and marketing within the Iraqi market or a related professional area with at least 2 years of experience in a senior sales role, along with additional expertise in B2B sales management
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate high standards of social skills, confidence, and courtesy in all interactions
- Decision-Making: Be decisive and motivated, capable of making informed choices under pressure
- Reliability: Exhibit a strong sense of reliability and commitment to their responsibilities
- Creativity: Approach challenges with creativity to find innovative solutions
