JOB PURPOSE
The primary objective is to contribute to the company’s success by ensuring that all phases of Construction works, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Mechanical and piping execution work being done effectively and with minimal hassles. Ensure health, safety and environment standards are met and the activities are following company HSE procedures, international codes, standards and good engineering practices. Well organized and self- motivated in performing indispensable duties such as regular assessment of construction work for safety, health and environment, intervention to HSE problems, avoid the accident, achieve the goal of zero. Good team player and use own initiative to achieve company HSE objectives. HSE supervisor for construction activities is required to coaching, monitor, supervising and follow up day to day activities on site as HSE procedures. In case of any HSE issues, it shall be immediately reported to construction HSE lead and Project manager in order to close out as per HSE Procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that all activities are carried out according to laws and regulations, policies and procedures of the company
- Contribute to promote the Company HSE philosophy to all parties involved in the Project
- General support to the construction HSE lead both in the field and in the office
- General Support to the project team in the field and in the office
- Making regular site inspections
- Investigating/recording incidents, accidents.
- Undertaking risk assessments
- Identifying potential hazards
- Determining ways of reducing risks (review the method statement of the safety measures)
- Organizing/attending health and safety meetings
- Review JHA
- Ensuring that equipment is used correctly/safely
- Coaching, supervising of the construction activities
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a health, safety, or environmental field of study
- Computer literate – in particular MS Office
Key Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organization skills
- HSE General Certificate
- Personnel Management Skills
- Initiative
Experience:
- Total Experience: 4 years of working in HSE with minimum of 2 years in Oil & Gas projects
Language Proficiency and Software Skills:
- MS Office: Excel, Word and Power point – Advanced
- English – Excellent (Spoken & Written)
