mselect is looking to hire a Customer Sales Engineer for an oil and gas service client in Basrah, Iraq. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience. English and Arabic fluency is a must.

Job Description
  • The CSE will be responsible for selling a company's products and services by identifying leads, generating opportunities, educating prospects on products/services through calls, trainings, presentations, and providing existing customers with exceptional support. To perform the day to day sales activities by managing customer queries and complaints
  • CSE will be responsible for identifying, developing and maximizing business growing and increasing the qualified sales revenue that have a profit. He/she will also be asked to process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints across several communication channels. To report on time and keep the data and system up to date with all business related data

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads through early engagement with targeted prospective customers and clients
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects, customers and clients
  • Outline the specifications, customer needs, and market shortage
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
  • Gather market intelligence information, keep a healthy data and develop key account and business development plans
  • Making sure to include the company among the list of invitees for the tenders and RFQ’s to have a smooth flow of opportunities
  • Track all sales activities in company system/report formats and keep current by updating account information regularly
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries. Being Seen and memorable
  • Keep an eye on market dynamics and report changes, opportunities and threats on spot
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferable Mechanical, Material, Technical & Chemical Engineering), Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Highly analytical with 2-5 years of experience within the industry sector (field operation/UPSTREAM (Drilling or Related Services), sales, marketing, technical experience) is a MUST
  • Experienced in Drilling Operation and its related services, drilling and workover assets, workshop API manufacturing background, Tubular, Oil Field Services (OFS); or the ability to quickly assimilate detailed technical information regarding company products and services portfolio
  • High level of communication skills, presentable with high level of customer service satisfaction capabilities
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skill, and presentation ability
  • Good skills in using computer, MS office and feeling comfortable working on computer and on the phones
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Speak, read and write English in a very good level
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
  • Experience working with customer support
  • Good appearance and presentable
  • Strive to work under challenge and pressure
  • Must have a proper documentation that would allow him to move freely in the territory he/she is covering
