KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Activities:
- Night Supervision of work over, drilling and completion activities on site
- Responsible for safety and environment on site, under Company man supervision
- Manage site personnel (Contractor and Service Companies)
- Monitor operational costs related to daily operations
- Contribute to operations optimizations (anticipation, organization, cost, logistic and execution)
- Ensure Safety specifications for wells and well operations are assured and maintained in compliance with company and statutory standards
- Adopt and demonstrate exemplarity towards HSE rules with associated enforcement and control within his area of responsibility
- Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards
- Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes
- Ensure HSE procedures are implemented (workover/drilling program, referential, SIMOPS dossier, bridging document, oilfield good practices…)
- Supervise the conduct of workover, drilling & completion operations as the D&W representative and assistant to the day supervisor
- Initiate and participate in various meetings with all entities involved (Pre-spud, DTM, TBT, Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS specific instructions, etc)
- Prepare daily drilling reports (DDR) and daily costs
- Assist in the coordination of logistics on site, manage the return of equipment and consumables to base
- Suggest innovative technical solutions: standardization, time savings
- Assist the day supervisor in all his daily activities
- Participate in workover, drilling & completion operations (methods/procedures) with the aim of quickly becoming autonomous
- Demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regards to HSE rules with associated implementation and control within his area of responsibility
- Actively participate to risk assessments on operational options, well remediation and well integrity situations
- Actively participate to HAZID -Hazard Identification/ HAZOP-Hazard Operability Study when necessary
- Ensure any hazard or incidents are reported immediately and in compliance with procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any Petroleum related field
- Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in drilling operations
- Experience in workover and/or completion operations
- Must have a valid well control certificate (IWCF or IADC)
- Must be dynamic, proactive, very organized and detail oriented
- Fluent in the English language both oral and written
