Job Purpose
Under the supervision of the Country DRM, he/she will act as a consultant for the Client’s Trading Levant Cluster management teams in all topics related to Sales Distributor activities in South Iraq (Mainly Baghdad/Basra) with the aim of ensuring and strengthening Operation Excellence based on specific channel-centric strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Building competencies with the distributor in South Iraq to achieve product freshness, distribution, consumer price, visibility and display objectives in all market segments as agreed between the Distributor and FTL management
- To maintain and enhance the relationship between the local distributor Client’s sales and Distributor South operation
- Verify the attainment of sales goals with distributor sales partners’ profitability
- Develop and solidify business relationships at the national and regional levels as appropriate to ensure the Client’s products are vital to customer business and revenue-generating plans
- Implement programs with distributors to maximize the effectiveness of the allocation of resources
- Identification of market opportunities and providing ongoing recommendations to support strategies development and enhancement for specific channels (e.g., Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesalers)
- Ensure execution excellence per channel and maximize market impact in the territory
- Conduct regular Store checks and field visits with the DTR sales team and provide Client’s Trading Management (local and HQ) with reports on Improvement areas/opportunities as well as Competition initiatives and products
- Support Iraq DRM in providing all the reports, and dashboard on daily business needs
Requirements
- Qualifications: BA or BSc from a Reputable University
- Experience: 3-5 Years of experience in the FMCG sector in the sales operation and ideally distributor management
- Travel: Open to travel in all of South Iraq

- Ability to influence and managing indirectly and strong analytical skills
- Financial acumen (not expert)
