Job Purpose
The E-Commerce Manager will oversee and manage the online sales strategy for the company’s mobile distribution sector. This position entails optimizing the organization’s e-commerce platform, enhancing online sales performance, and ensuring a seamless digital experience for customers. The ideal candidate must possess substantial expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce operations, and analytical frameworks to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to maximize online sales and expand market share
- Manage the organization’s online platforms, which include websites, marketplaces, and mobile applications
- Coordinate with internal marketing, sales, logistics, and information technology departments to ensure seamless e-commerce operations
- Monitor and analyse website performance, customer behavior, and online sales trends to enhance conversion rates
- Lead digital marketing initiatives encompassing search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), email campaigns, and social media strategies to improve online visibility and engagement
- Oversee the development of product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities designed to drive traffic and increase sales
- Manage relationships with third-party e-commerce platforms and vendors to optimize collaboration
- Ensure effective inventory management, order fulfilment, and delivery logistics
- Remain informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to sustain a competitive advantage
- Track and report on key performance metrics (KPIs), providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in mobile distribution or consumer electronics
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions
- Familiarity with logistics, payment gateways, and customer service best practices in e-commerce
- Speak a minimum of two languages
- Experience in building and managing E-Commerce/marketplace business [Not necessarily in Iraq]
- Understanding Magento and Odoo [preferred]
- Understand the mobile and electronics industry [preferred]
- Good understanding of social media and marketing
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for e-commerce
- Understanding of the mobile phone industry and market trends
