Job Objective:
This position will act as a Lead Hand Service engineer and will work alongside co-workers and will also be responsible for teams’ ability to meet productivity targets, technically assist the team, ensuring all tasks are completed in safe and timely manner. Assist Service manager for the activities pertaining to market and servicing new and existing customer base, ensure high standards in Housekeeping of depot, Upkeep of Rental fleet, training programs and customer services. In addition to this you will be responsible for oversight of safety audits, employee safety training, and compliance with local regulations. Communication and interactions in a cooperative and professional manner, drives implement, sustains, and develop quality process improvement that focus on safety, efficiency, operations and customer service.

- Interact with other departments and service & sales team members and adjust efforts to accomplish or improve results
- Strong focus on continuous improvement in the use of digital solutions in our customer communications and relations
- You will have a strong focus on innovation, automation, connectivity and digitalization of the operations and further optimize all processes for maximum efficiency
- Responsible for the erection/assembly, installation and testing of boilers
- Performs routine maintenance on boiler equipment and systems
- Capable to troubleshoot steam boiler
- Maintains low-high pressure Steam boilers, GAS/FUEL and heating systems
- Monitors boiler system to ensure it is operating safely and properly; facilitates periodic boiler cleaning
- Tests boiler feed water for corrosive deposits and treats the water with chemicals to prevent build-up
- Periodically maintain the records for boiler operations
- Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable
- Capable to perform steam boiler commissioning and installation based on the site requirements
- Up to date knowledge of required standards in compliance and safety

Experience required:
- Extensive knowledge of industrial boiler operation, maintenance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent mechanical skills
- Aware of steam boiler component requirements (Softener, dossing pump, economizer, degassing system, etc)
- Ability to follow safety procedures and processes
- Must be driven and enthusiastic with a passion for engineering maintenance
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to plan and organize effectively besides excellent interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- BC degree in mechanical engineer or equivalent required
- 5 years’ experience working with steam boilers - Preferable
- Preferred valid boiler operator license
