KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company’s objectives and long-term goals
- Oversee all operational activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization
- Manage day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across all departments
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Oversee and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts to ensure financial stability and growth
- Optimize the company’s financial performance and strategic position
- Identify and mitigate financial risks
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve operational and strategic goals
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
- Implement training and development programs to enhance employees’ skills and career growth
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company’s market presence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to achieve revenue targets
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Ensure the company’s operations are aligned with health, safety, and environmental regulations
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a General Manager in an industrial company
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly across different locations in Iraq
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations within Iraq as needed
- Strong understanding of the industrial sector and market dynamics in Iraq
- Proven track record of driving business growth and operational efficiency
