Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced and professional Head of Waiters to lead the corporate dining hall team in a remote, high-volume food service environment. The ideal candidate will have solid hospitality experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage and train a team to deliver top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of waiters and dining hall staff
- Ensure smooth meal service for 500+ personnel per sitting
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food handling
- Coordinate buffet-style service setup and presentation
- Train and mentor staff to ensure consistent service delivery
- Monitor staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage
- Address guest needs and resolve any service issues professionally
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the food service industry
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Experience with large-scale meal service operations
- Familiar with hygiene standards and food handling procedures
- Professional appearance and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a remote, camp-based environment
