mselect is hiring an HR Manager for a holding group in Erbil. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years relevant experience. Fluency in Arabic, English and Kurdish is a must.

Position Overview
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within the organization. This role involves implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure effective talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and overall employee satisfaction. The HR Manager will collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with the company's goals and objectives. The position is covering Iraq so field visits on a monthly basis to KRI and federal cities is required.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Conduct orientation and onboarding for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the organization
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits enrolment
Employee Relations:
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees, ensuring a positive work environment
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance overall job satisfaction
HR Policies and Compliance:
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices under supervision of the HRD
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation
Performance Management:
  • Implement and oversee performance appraisal processes to evaluate employee performance and development
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and recognition programs
  • Assist in identifying training and development needs and coordinate relevant stakeholders
Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs across the organization and collaborate with external providers or internal resources to develop and deliver relevant training programs
  • Support career development initiatives, including mentorship programs and succession planning
HR Analytics and Reporting:
  • Compile and analyse HR data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making
  • Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics for management review

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or equivalent
  • +6 years HR management experience in similar roles
  • Knowledge of local labour laws and regulations, employment contracts, performance and training management frameworks, manpower planning and HR information management systems
