Job Purpose
The HR Supervisor will play a key role in managing and enhancing our human resources function to foster a positive work environment, support employee development, and align HR operations with company goals. This position involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, compliance, and policy development to ensure a productive and compliant workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to attract and onboard qualified talent aligned with company values and goals
- Employee Onboarding and Training: Develop and implement onboarding programs that integrate new hires into the company culture Facilitate training initiatives to improve employee skills and foster growth
- Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between employees and management, handling employee concerns and facilitating a positive and productive work environment
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, assisting managers with goal-setting and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement and development
- Policy Compliance and Implementation: Ensure HR policies are up-to-date, compliant with Iraqi labour laws, and effectively communicated to all employees
- Policy and Procedure Development: Collaborate with management to create, review, and refine company policies and procedures that support operational goals and foster a consistent, fair workplace environment
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Coordinate payroll processing and manage employee benefits, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- HR Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports to support management in decision-making
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in an HR supervisory or related role, ideally within the fragrance or consumer goods industry
- Knowledge of Iraqi Labour Law: Strong understanding of Iraqi employment regulations and HR compliance requirements
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to foster positive relationships across departments and address employee needs professionally
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Core Competencies: Problem-solving, confidentiality, and a people-oriented approach to HR management
