Job Objective:
As an HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions and ensuring a positive employee experience. You will collaborate with the HR team and other departments to promote a productive and inclusive work environment.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify top talent
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees' questions and concerns, providing guidance and solutions when needed
- Promote positive employee relations by addressing conflicts and fostering a respectful work culture
- Support performance management processes, including performance evaluations and feedback
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HR databases
- Assist in the administration of benefits and leave programs
- Generate HR reports and metrics as needed
Compliance and Policies:
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Conduct HR audits and ensure adherence to established policies
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and collaborate with the HR team to design and deliver training programs
- Support employee development initiatives, including career planning and growth opportunities
Skills and requirements:
- Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization
- Partner with the HR team to develop and implement diversity and inclusion programs
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or a similar HR role
- Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
