KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing the EHS plan, MSRA, JSA and other risk related documents
- EHS required area inspections and audits
- Attend contractors EHS meetings (Monthly and Quarterly) and ensures internal communication
- Manages subcontractors with respect to EHS Requirements
- Maintain and track risk register, training files, certifications and all licenses
- Investigate incidents and accidents and report findings to management
- Conducting HSE Induction Trainings for new employees and appointed subcontractors
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Witnessing of site toolbox talks, conducting by the foremen/supervisor
- Performing quarterly internal and contractor’s mechanical/electrical equipment inspection and tagging
- Key role in developing a positive safety culture
- Ensuring logistic plans are in place and incoming/outgoing deliveries are logged
- Ensuring company objectives and targets are met in anticipated time period
- Ensuring legal compliance in all respects with regard to latest regulations
- Participate in safety inspection such as identifying hazards, unsafe act and conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions to site management; ensure the implementation thereof and forward a complete report to the management
- Daily inspection of worksite for locating hazards & issuing report
- Periodic inspection of approved PPEs
- Organizing and conducting training programs
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related issues
- Job hazard analysis and permit processing for different work activities
- Continuously monitor and improve the safety performance of the organization
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Safety or related field
- NEBOSH-IGC, IOSH
- Experience in Aviation fuel farm / knowledge of JIG standard will be added advantage
- Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must, Arabic is a big plus
