Job Purpose
To Execute a forecast prediction model and manage the delivery of receipt of goods, materials and/ or services, Shipments, Freight, clearance to ensure the availability of goods and services that meet the operating needs of the business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Logistics:
- Prepare sales orders and coordinate with Supply chain, and customers
- Provide professional advice and guidance on shipping routes and most efficient
- Freight negotiations: and obtain the best prices for land and sea freight
- Provide professional advice and guidance on forwarders / transporters based on service, price
- Advise on shipping documentation, receive, check and process shipping and delivery documentation from suppliers, identifying and following up on any errors and/or discrepancies in order to ensure that correct order quantity and quality is received on time
- Generate system automated forecast Monthly/ quarterly/ annually
- Identify the baseline and build a view of the forecast is progressing
- Create a feedback loop (view of the baseline forecast overlaid with BU initiatives and plans)
- Request and calculates the forecast based on BU feedback
- Communicate timely to Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain teams any important deviation vs. initial forecast (change of availability, risk of stock out)
- Generate required reports for Leadership Team meetings
- Weekly review of status of the sales
- Highlight risks and opportunities within cycle period
- Create accurate minutes of meetings
- Follows up on actions assigned during the Leadership Team meetings
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in in Commerce/ Business Management
- FMCG Sales, Manufacturing/ Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing and Finance processes
Minimum Experience:
- A minimum 5+ years of Management experience in Demand Planning / Logistics in FMCG Iraq experience is a must
