KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and oversee periodic maintenance plans for technicians and engineers, ensuring completion according to the established schedule
- Communicate daily with teams to set the work agenda based on requests or the pre-set plan
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and regularly update them according to each project and elevator
- Receive maintenance forms from technicians and engineers, archive them, issue invoices as per company policies or signed contracts, and forward them to the direct supervisor
- Review and approve work expenses submitted by direct reports
- Ensuring a high level of safety compliance by direct reports via safety walks, toolbox talks or training
- Review, track, and approve direct reports attendance, approve leave requests according to work requirements, and monitor team performance
- Train technicians through internal sessions or on-the-job training to enhance their skills and expertise
- Guide and mentor new technicians and engineers, ensuring they acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in line with company policies and procedures

- Conduct periodic site visits to perform necessary inspections and ensure maintenance operations are properly executed
- Handle correspondence with elevator manufacturers to request technical support when necessary
- Participate in selecting candidates for technical roles through tests or interviews
- Maintain an archive of elevator schematics
- Create and manage the maintenance department budget with the operations manager, optimizing expenses and resource allocation to improve efficiency
- Build relationships with key clients through direct or delegated communication to ensure continuity of service
- Prepare and send necessary reports on completed work to the direct supervisor
- Review and explain electrical and mechanical schematics to the direct team
- Provide support in preventive or on-call maintenance if staff shortages occur
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic or electrical engineering or equivalent
- Experience in elevator installation, commissioning or maintenance
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Intermediate user when it comes to MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Upper-intermediate in English (Level B2 as per CEFR)
