JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Management:
- Build a team of Medical representatives to cover Kurdistan at first and then later Iraq.
- Continuous visits on the market to fully understand it and be able to put and execute a complete respective marketing and sales plan
- Coach and develop the individual team members
- Lead, inspire and motivate the team to create a “winning team spirit” to optimize team output
- Ensure the medical sales teams have access to the administrative resources they require achieving their business objectives with optimum efficiency
- Daily & weekly meetings to review and discuss the market situation and daily sales operation and to review if sales plans are in line with cycle objectives
- Coordinate with the Medical Representatives the most efficient means to optimize the sales performance
- Appraise the efforts versus the monthly targets
- Co-ordinates and facilitate the Initial training programs as set out in the skills build training plans
- Develop appropriate evaluation and assessment tools to measure the quality of training, knowledge, and other skills required by Medical Representatives
- Recommend and compile findings of key performance indicators and incentive schemes
- Conducting double visits for support, coaching purposes and closing, when needed
- Promote teamwork by sharing best practice
- Participate in conferences and congresses
- Prepare visit forecasts
- Ensure the proper implementation of the established sales policies and procedures
- Develop an efficient sales program to ensure the achievement of the targeted sales forecast
- Recommend and optimize A&P budget allocated for professional contacts, professional schemes, presentations, seminars and professional talks
- Sales Analysis:
- Analyze the sales every month / area, to measure the efforts of the team & to find the strength & weakness & recommend corrective actions
- Monitors and follow-up on competitors’ prices and sales strategies
- Monitor and be responsible for monthly spending plan to guidelines and to effectively manage the budget allocated
Key requirements
- 12 to 15 years of sales and sales supervisory experience
- Experience in the medical equipment field
- Leadership skills
- Communication skills
- Bachelor degree in scientific or engineering background
- Knowledge of PC programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Languages: English, and Arabic. Kurdish is a plus
