mselect is looking to hire a Merchandiser for an intonational industrial group in Erbil. Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of experience in marketing or sales and be fluent in Kurdish, English and Arabic.
JOB OBJECTIVE
We are looking for a brand marketing representative as a merchandiser with market and cultural understanding, particularly with experience working for international brands, in order to increase sales by offering point-of-purchase services.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Merchandising:
- Preparation and implementation of weekly shop visit program
- Monitoring of product display and reporting to client on a regular basis (once a week)
- Monitoring of client equipment condition, reporting on broken equipment & co-ordination of repair via Dealers and reporting to client on a regular basis (once a week)
- Distribution, implementation, monitoring of all printed materials produced by client for shops and reporting to client on a regular basis (once a week)
- Monitoring of stocks of client printed & promo materials, reporting to client on a regular basis (once a month)
- Competitors monitoring (incl. product display & sales & actions) and reporting to client on a regular basis
Training planning including:
Detailed programs & participants list preparation in co-ordination with Dealers
Preparation of the contents for:
- LDA training
- BI training
- Hands-on training
- Promo personnel & chief training
Implementation including:
- Set-up for trainings
- Purchasing of all necessary goods for hands-on training
Other tasks:
- Monitoring of competitors activity and providing report on a regular basis
- Provide info from market based on client request
- Support during Live kitchen and promo activities
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- marketing degree or other equivalent qualifications
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in sales or marketing with preferably with experience in international companies
- Kurdish, Arabic and English language proficiency
