mselect is looking to hire a Partnerships and Engagement Supervisor for an educational client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, or a related role, preferably within an educational or leadership development setting. Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must.

Job Purpose
This position will drive collaboration with corporate partners, academic institutions, alumni, and other stakeholders to create opportunities that support the program's mission of developing world-class leaders. The Director will also lead efforts to engage participants, alumni, and the broader community to foster a vibrant and supportive network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with corporations, academic institutions, governmental bodies, and other relevant organizations
  • Negotiate partnership agreements that align with the program’s goals and deliver mutual benefits
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration and the continuous creation of value
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy to connect participants, alumni, and other stakeholders with the program’s activities and initiatives
  • Organize and lead events, workshops, and networking opportunities that foster meaningful connections and collaboration among stakeholders
  • Enhance the program’s visibility and reputation through targeted outreach and communication efforts
  • Oversee the development of a robust alumni network, creating opportunities for lifelong engagement and professional development
  • Implement initiatives to maintain strong ties with alumni, including regular communications, events, and exclusive programs
  • Leverage alumni relationships to support recruitment, fundraising, and partnership efforts o   Build and maintain relationships with corporate leaders and community organizations to
  • support the program’s objectives and increase its impact
  • Develop sponsorship opportunities and secure funding to support program activities, scholarships, and events
  • Represent the program at industry events, conferences, and public forums to build awareness and attract new partners
  • Collaborate with the program’s management team and faculty to align partnership and engagement efforts with educational goals
  • Support the development and execution of new program initiatives, leveraging partnerships to enhance program offerings
  • Gather and analyse feedback from partners and stakeholders to inform program improvements and strategic decisions
  • Develop and manage communication strategies that keep partners and stakeholders informed and engaged
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on partnership outcomes, engagement metrics, and strategic recommendations
  • Ensure that all partnership and engagement activities are aligned with the program’s brand and mission

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field from reputable and globally high-ranking higher education institutions 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, or a related role, preferably within an educational or leadership development setting
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex partnerships
  • Experience in organizing and leading events, networking activities, and community engagement initiatives
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align partnership and engagement efforts with organizational goals
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in the education or leadership development sector
  • Existing network within corporate, academic, or community organizations that can be leveraged for partnership opportunities
  • Familiarity with fundraising and sponsorship development
  • Fluent in English and Kurdish
