KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Permitting and Consents Administration:
- Assist the Permitting Administration Manager in obtaining al permits/licenses/consents/approvals and other specific agreements (tie-in agreements, crossing agreements) from external stakeholders (Iraqi authorities and administrations and private businesses as needed) as required by the project
- Assist the Permitting Administration Manager in interacting with Integrated Projects Control entity and Projects organization for securing technical input and validate the necessary application documents or agreements
- Optimize costs, planning and processes for all activities related to permitting/licenses/consents/approvals through batches
- Maintain and update a master permits register for permits licenses, consents, and approvals in accordance with the relevant legislation
- Monitor legislation with Legal department for any updates or changes impacting the project permits/licenses/consents/approvals
- Monitor and anticipate permit renewals
- Develop and maintain the required network and focal points with relevant external stakeholders
- Support other entities involved in Environment Social Health Impact Assessment (ESHIA), land access in particular, labor and security matters
- Participate in the development and maintenance of databases, spreadsheets & reporting tools as necessary to carry out the work
- Under the supervision of the Permitting Administration Manager, provide support for all required coordination actions to secure permits/licenses/consents/approvals including meetings with relevant external stakeholders
- Liaise with Projects planners to update/optimize planning activities linked to permits/licenses/consents/approvals
- Support JV and Finance teams on all aspects linked to permitting/licenses/consents/approvals
- Support negotiations for Tie-in and Crossing Agreements
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business, Social sciences, Engineering or Law
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs or Public Relations preferably in Iraq
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Good command of the English language
