Sales and Operations Manager

mselect is looking to hire a Sales and Operations Manager for a travel and tourism client in Baghdad, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a similar role, preferably to have travel experience. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Operations Manager to oversee sales strategies, client relationships, and operational efficiency in the travel sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing travel operations, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic plans to develop the company's revenues through market analysis and exploring new opportunities for growth
  • Propose new programs that contribute to developing income and revenues through innovative strategies that enhance financial returns
  • Contribute to developing the company's systems to ensure improved operational efficiency and improved performance quality
  • Supervise daily operations within the company to ensure efficient workflow and achieve set goals
  • Supervise, train and develop the staff on the latest systems to ensure improved performance and enhance team skills
  • Maintain the customer base and communicate continuously with them to strengthen relationships and ensure customer satisfaction while following up on their opinions and evaluation of the services provided and listening to any complaints
  • Follow up on social media pages in terms of displaying and promoting the company's services through the staff and the electronic marketing company
  • Represent the company in international and local exhibitions and conferences to open new horizons for cooperation and partnerships
  • Implement marketing plans and conduct field visits to companies that have regular reservations, and work on concluding "Corporate" contracts to cover their reservations
  • Assist ticket reservation employees in enhancing balances with airlines and hotels
  • Follow up on financial collection processes with the accountant, support him, and intervene, when necessary, through direct communication with customers to ensure effective collection of dues
  • Communicate with airlines to strengthen relationships
  • Design and manage new tourism programs, such as honeymoon programs, foreign tourism, and medical and scientific conferences inside and outside Iraq
  • Supervise large group reservations so that these details are organized by him
  • Submit monthly reports on the company's obstacles and achievements

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Sales equivalent.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a similar role.
