SUMMARY
The Sales Manager role in an interior design company is responsible for leading and managing the sales team, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and for generating sales of the company's products and services. This individual will have an architectural or civil engineering background and will have experience in sales management.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Developing and implementing sales strategies and action plans
- Generating sales of the company's products and services through direct and indirect sales activities
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals
- Negotiating sales contracts and agreements
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and reporting on sales performance
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and changes
- Managing and motivating the sales team, setting targets, and providing training and development opportunities
- Managing budgets and expenses related to sales activities
- Develop sales SOPs, policies, and guidelines
- Develop incentive and commissioning schemes for sales staff
Required Qualifications:
- Architectural or Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management in the related field
- Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic and English
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Personal hygiene, grooming and well dressing is a must
- Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends, as well as the company's products and services
- Experience in managing budgets and expenses related to sales activities
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
