MSELECT is looking for a Sales Manager for a food and beverage client in Erbil. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in sales in the FMCG sector. English and Kurdish fluency is a must, Arabic is a plus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls
- Develop and achieve sales goals to grow the brand and sales network, compare performance to goals and adjust goals as needed
- Track sales goals and report results as necessary
- Develop new business through lead generation using personal and business networks, cold calling, and other developmental techniques to achieve planned targets
- Responsible for all aspects of account management for new and existing accounts
- Hire, train and develop new team members such as technicians and sales representatives as the operation grows
- Develop and assess operational processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary
- Maintain high levels of customer service to existing customers
- Develop and execute promotions, marketing activities and point of sale material
- Develop and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts, reports, expense information and other necessary systems
- Manage ongoing needs of clients on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for ordering materials, requesting machine maintenance and other client’s needs
- Dispatch maintenance technicians to client locations to perform needed and periodic machine maintenance
- Prepare, deliver, and collect monthly invoices to clients and maintain accurate records
- Work with UAE branch to further develop the company presence in the Kurdistan Region
- Coordinate with UAE branch to order necessary quantities of materials and equipment to ensure stock availability
- Develop a system for ordering materials, handle logistics, storage and other aspects of procurement for company materials
- Develop marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness
- Follow up on customer complaints and issues as they arise
- Develop new business channels across the Kurdistan Region’s major cities
Skills
- Language Skills: Must know English and Kurdish, Arabic is a plus
- Computer Skills: Full MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Office Suite) abilities
- Organizational Skills: Must be a good communicator, organized, have attention to detail, able to work under pressure, and customer relationship management. Must be able to deal with a large variety of people in a friendly, convincing, and respectful manner.
Requirements:
- Education: College/ University Diploma
- At least five-years prior experience in the FMCG/Sales industry is required
- Preferred Nationality: Kurdish but open to other nationalities (Must be able to travel to the UAE on occasion)
- Travel might be required periodically, both around the Kurdistan Region and to the UAE
- Working Conditions: (6) Days per week & (10) hours per day
