mselect is looking to hire a Security Liaison for an international oil and gas operator in Basrah, Iraq. Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience. English and Arabic fluency is a must. 

Job purpose
To act as a general-purpose security liaison for the IFMS security department, conduct non-technical administrational tasks & convey messages within the IFMS security department and act as a link to the BOC security team when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic verbal translation
  • Support driver for the IFMS security management team
  • Support IFMS security Liaison with the BOC security team when required
  • Supports office administrational duties (printing and copying)
  • Provision of basic reports when requested

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification & Training requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Competent in the use of MS office applications
  • Qualified Driver
Experience:
  • Competent at Basic document translation Arabic to English and visa-versa
  • Conversant with primary MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Driver with a valid driving license
  • Capable of effectively operating within a multinational environment whilst maintaining overall cultural awareness.
  • Good understanding of local area social dynamics.
  • Good work ethos and timekeeping.
Language proficiency, computer and software skills:
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office related software.
  • Basic English – (verbal & written)
