Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the programming of the machine contour-path machining of customer parts Ensure all quality and safety standards are being followed
- Interpret the outputs of all blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications to meet requirements
- Operating CAD to create part models and geometry as needed
- Use CAM programming on multi-axis mill-turn machines
- Use Optimal tooling and cutting parameters based on material and setup
- Implement work holding for manufacturing processes
- Execute manufacturing processes individually or as a team
- Work together as a team to ensure continuous improvement
- Provide evidence and data for Reporting of Engineering and Management information that affects quality or schedule
- Ensure quality control on programs, tool sheets, and setup documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Automotive or Manufacturing Engineering
- 8-10 years CAD/CAM Engineering experience in Aerospace industry is preferred
- Experience working with Boeing and or airbus components
- AS9100 and ISO quality standard certification is desirable
- CAD operations and CAM Programming
