mselect is looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static) for an engineering client in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in mechanical design in onshore/offshore oil & gas industry in a brownfield environment with focus on static equipment’s. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Engineering: Develop and assess designs for static equipment, ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards
  • Project Collaboration: Work within a cross-discipline team to deliver integrated design solutions for brownfield projects
  • Documentation: Prepare technical specs, calculations, and engineering documents in alignment with international standards

Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ years in static equipment design within oil and gas, including brownfield projects and recent work in a consultancy
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, knowledge of mechanical design tools, and experience working in multidisciplinary teams
