mselect is looking to hire a Senior Process Engineer for an aerospace client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a process engineering role in Aerospace Industries. Fluency in English is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of PFD, project specific specifications, design calculation, analysis, procurement specification
- Ensuring planned engineering (process) progress with respect to the engineering deliverables for Tenders (as required) and awarded Projects, process Engineering planning and scheduling, preparation of progress reports, manpower and resource forecasts, time schedules of engineers, utilization of resources effectively and efficiently
- Process Design and Detail Engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, Process Optimization, sizing and selection of equipment etc for Tenders (as required) and for awarded Projects
- Review of Clients tender documents, specifications, datasheets, verification of FEED design and calculations;
- Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings and Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P and I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause and Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, studies and reports, Operation and maintenance manuals etc and providing necessary engineering inputs to the other disciplines and other departments;
- Ensure compliance to AS9100 and ISO quality standards, review of vendor’s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Process Automation or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English Language
- AS9100 and ISO quality standard certification desirable
- CAD and Auto CAD
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a process engineering role in Aerospace Industries
- Current or previous experience in manufacturing for clients such as Airbus and Boeing
