Key Responsibilities
- Quality control inspectors examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications. Monitor quality standards for nearly all manufactured products. Record the results of inspections through test reports. When defects are found, inspectors notify supervisors follow NC Management and help to analyse and correct production problems
- Read blueprints and specifications
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
- Measure products with rulers, callipers, gauges, or micrometres
- Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
- Accept or reject finished items
- Follow NC Management
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
- Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected
- Provide regular reports of the output of all Quality related findings
- Ensure compliance to AS9100 quality standards
- Championing the organization values and performance culture at all times to model behaviours to wider team staff
Education & Qualifications
- Vocational Qualification in relevant field or Quality Control Experience Aerospace, defence and Oil & Gas is desirable
- AS9100 and ISO quality standard certification and Lean Six Sigma Certification is desirable
- At least 5 years in quality control and experience of QA tools
- Aerospace, Defence and Oil & Gas experience is desirable
