Job Objective
A Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for a wide range of duties that involve both technical expertise and commercial understanding, strong understanding of the products or services that the company provides and be able to communicate this information to clients and potential customers. They must also have a thorough understanding of the industry trends and competitor offerings to stay ahead of the competition.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform visits to the market: Prospecting, meeting, presenting, closing and following up
- Work towards meeting the department sales target and strategies
- Manage the complete follow-up of the division’s clientele
- Market Assessment related to products, competition, and technical information
- Inspection & Installation of the equipment
- Application training on the equipment
- Apply needed preventive maintenance measures on the equipment
- Repair the defective equipment
- Follow up on maintenance agreements on the equipment
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a must; electrical or biomedical engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales
- Languages: Kurdish, English and Arabic
