KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Supervision of stock management activities
- Supports the technical entities in all Stock Management activities
- Contribute towards Coaching and developing the skills and competencies of the Stock Management team
- Participate in the job specification, competence assessment & recruitment processes for Stock Management personnel
- Maintain extensive knowledge and technical expertise in the use of and the functionality of the inventory management and stock processes related to SAP R/3 and SAP BW MM tool
- Provide technical expertise in areas of specification, storage, scrap, sales & disposal of materials / equipment
- Ensure piloting tools are up to-date and complete for proper management of the activities and the team
- Organize, direct and control material requirements planning activities
- Ensure all Material creation includes the necessary related Quality assurance /Quality control provisions
- Ensure proper interface with Purchasing, Freight Forwarding, Technical Entities, etc, for stock activities
- Participate in and lead duet/tripartite meetings with partner entities and technical managers
- Participate in organizing and managing stock-related contracts committee’s presentations
- Propose and promote continuous improvement of Stock handling practices, procedures and reference documentation
- Preparing reports on stock management activities
- Ensure Stock management information is reliable and up to-date
- Manage the SAP articles database as per the Affiliate and Global Procurement Headquarter recommendations
- Organize and participate together with technical entities, in the elimination of surplus, obsolete and/or deteriorated stock
- Hold the function of Stock Management SAP Key User if not assigned to another team member
- Carry out regular reviews, with the concerned technical duet, regarding management of stock parameters prior to materials replenishment
- Participate and liaise with concerned entities to close all declared Claims in due time
- Stock reporting
- Ensure that company’s stock management rules, procedures, policies and applicable laws and regulations are adhered to, especially those related to ethics and transparency and compliance
- Ensure compliance with quality management policies within the job holders’ area of responsibility
- Ensure proper management of the stock process to get satisfactory results in stock management Audits such as SOX, partners and company audit controls
- Act as an example in adherence to client’s rules and procedures
- Promote awareness and provide guidance to employees under their supervision regarding the execution of the H3SE rules, both for Company Staff and suppliers without deviating from contractor's legal obligations
- Ensure that H3SE clauses are implemented in Contract and Procurement (C&P) documents and H3SE performance is monitored
- Notify relevant staff of accidents, incidents and near-misses and initiate corrective actions
REQUIREMENTS
- University/bachelor’s degree or Equivalent certified experience
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry with at least 4 years in Stock Management
- Advanced level of technical competence in Stock Management and SAP and Business Warehouse (BW) advanced certification is required
- Intermediate level of competence in Material Purchasing is a requirement
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of materials management (MM) and Reporting (BW) modules of SAP R/3 ERP system
- Good interpersonal, problem solving, planning and organization skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
