Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing supplier development and ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of products and services
- Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet product specifications, monitoring materials for defects, and resolving quality issues
- Supporting risk management and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
- Managing the supplier risk management process
- Managing the purchased product verification
- Monitoring supplier performance
- Working closely with suppliers to develop their capabilities, enhance quality, and ensure alignment with client standards and expectations
- Keeping detailed records, generating reports, and developing presentations to help management understand the overall perspective of supplier development
- Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased
- Supporting inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
- Maintaining and updating supplier information, such as qualifications, delivery times, and product range
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication in the English language
- Advanced knowledge and experience working with ERP systems
- Ability to manage supplier development activities across all aspects of procurement and supply chain management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is a must
- Combined supplier development, quality, and manufacturing experience is desirable
