Job Summary:
Execute all secondary distribution including dispatching, receipting of loads, and driver debriefing. Organizing the workplace and executing picking and loading. Responsible for the inventory management at the warehouse.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Execute Dispatching and Receiving of Loads (Secondary Distribution):
- Dispatching Drivers
- Cross reference driver checks with the company to ensure correct quantities of finished product on shipment
- Provide driver with delivery shipment documentation
- Amend load and documentation correctly in the event of product non-availability
- Verify that all invoices and delivery documentation are signed and fully completed upon receipt of vehicle
- Load Summary and invoices to be collated and filed
- Understand shipment differences and record reasons for discrepancies
- Receive Damages and GRV
- Receiving of Primary Loads and All Materials
Execute Driver Debriefing:
- Driver stops list sheet feedback collated, captured and handed to Distribution Team Leader
- Stop filling
Workplace Organization and Housekeeping:
- Adherence to 5S
- Sort and File Invoices
- Office and Warehouse clean at all times
Execute Picking and Loading:
- Independent 3-point check to happen at all times
- Correct stocks picked
- Correct count and right stock loaded in trucks
Inventory Management:
- Carry out Weekly inventory procedure as per inventory management SOP
- Warehouse damages controlled
- Promo Stocks Management
- Stock Age reporting
- Return stock Checking
- Month End Stock Count Preparations and count
Qualifications:
- Grade 1, Graduate preferred
- knowledge of logistics
- Time management
- Intermediate proficiency with MS-Office 2013

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience in Logistics operations preferably in a FMCG environment
