KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise Light Well Intervention activities on site:
- WH Maintenance, WH remedial and slickline activities
- Key member of Chain of Command
- In charge of HSE, operation, the well, the personnel & equipment on site
- Perform night Supervision of Well Intervention activities SL (SlickLine), EL (Electric Log), CT (Coiled Tubing) and SWT (Surface Well Testing)), when necessary
- Participate in risk assessments on operational options, well remediation and well integrity situations
- Participate in Hazard Identification Study (HAZID) / (HAZOP) Hazard and Operability when necessary
- Participate in crisis response training and take critical role in emergency response as part of the Drilling & Wells (DW) Chain of command
- Ensure any hazard or incidents are reported immediately and in compliance with procedures
- Ensure all services and carried out safely and, to the required oilfield best practice standards
- Ensure that materials and equipment supplied are free from defects and suitable for their intended purpose
- Ensure adequate manpower and technical resources are available at the work sites to allow safe operations
- Ensure personnel on site are trained and adhere to Safety requirements in order to prevent major accidents and incidents (blow out, loss of asset, wells integrity issues)
- Update Operational cost file for complete and accurate daily operation costs follow up within the Daily Report
- Play a key role in the Drilling Improvement Process for completion and well interventions
- Prepare and provide hand over to back-to-back
- Supervise intervention progress while ensuring compliance with the program
- Prepare Daily Operation Reports
- Attend morning conference call with Well Superintendent
- Organize daily operation meeting on site – prepare, review & manage with contractor the daily activities
- Liaise with service providers for Personnel and Equipment requirements and movements
- Review and report any well integrity problem or concern to Well Superintendent and recommend remedial actions
- Monitor budget and operational costs
- Update well files and plans
- Participate in operations debriefing & improvement process
- Ensure Safety specifications for wells and well operations are assured and maintained in compliance with Company and statutory standards
- Demonstrate exemplarity towards HSE rules, enforcement and control within the area of responsibility
- Promote awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards
- Participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in a Petroleum related field (or equivalent certified professional experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in well servicing, completion, or workover operations
- Valid IWCF Well Intervention & Completion Level 4 certificate (or equivalent)
- Must be Fluent in the English language (Oral and Written)
