Job Purpose
The Compliance Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Compliance Manager in ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant internal and external laws, regulations, and standards. They collaborate with various departments to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures. They also monitor daily activities to ensure compliance and adherence to approved standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting the Compliance Manager:
- Providing administrative and technical support to the Compliance Manager
- Implementing and updating compliance policies and procedures in cooperation with the Compliance Manager
- Monitoring daily operations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Conducting periodic compliance assessments and providing reports on findings and recommendations
- Organizing training programs and workshops to raise employee awareness of compliance policies and procedures
- Guiding employees on compliance matters
- Participating in investigations related to non-compliance incidents and recommending corrective actions
- Monitoring the implementation of corrective actions and ensuring proper closure of cases
- Cooperating with regulatory and governmental bodies to ensure compliance of operations with legal requirements
- Communicating with legal counsel when necessary to provide advice and support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in compliance or a related function
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of work
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the company
