RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to and promote Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) behaviours of the affiliate, within its area of activity and responsibility. Acquires, processes, interprets, and manages confidential information including those in line with the subsidiary's liability support database
- Oversees the management of all aspects related to drone regulation (from equipment to daily authorizations, etc.). This requires an organization and the setting up of specific partnerships. He oversees the supervision of all 24/7 operations, and especially complex ones (critical areas, air traffic, military training areas). He follows and implements the most advanced or technical flights (semi-autonomous, specific equipment) and those presenting an operational risk (close to ATEX zone) or having a security dimension. He supervises the maintenance in operational conditions of the subsidiary's fleet, in accordance with the expectations of manufacturers and regulators
- Carry out the annual GHG drone monitoring campaigns. This includes both the operation of the drone but also the management and maintenance of all the research devices and equipment. He also participates and carry out scientific data quantification of emissions through the data science process and participate to the improvement of the R&D company source codes in relation with the HQ research centre and Data Tech (OT)
- Supervise the analysis and interpretation performed by his team and carries out the most complex processing and interpretation. He brings a level of expertise to the subsidiary by acquiring, processing and interpreting information to support and advise the Managing Director. He provides an expertise support to level 2 of the Crisis Management Cell in case of emergency (oil spill simulation and detection, etc.)
- Manage all the satellite campaigns of the subsidiary and selects the best providers and the most suitable techniques. It carries out the processing, analysis and interpretation of these data which have a confidential vocation at the level of the subsidiary and company
- Develop and manages all geospatial applications and associated NTIC-New Technology of Information components (Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Radar and Satellite Tracking, etc.). These applications have an operational interest for the HQ or other subsidiaries, so it carries out the technical interfaces with these entities to transmit the know-how (except for sensitive subjects like security). Some of them are deployed in the control rooms for 24/7 supervision, or even used in case of IMT-Incident Management Tool
- Ensure a technological watch, whether it is on methods or equipment relative to his domain. It sets up projects and partnerships with R&D entities and/or start-ups if necessary for the subjects requiring it
- Managing the most sensitive information systems either from the technical aspect or from their confidential content
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
- Minimum 15 years with a strong level of expertise in data science and geospatial
- Strong NICT technical knowledge and ability to manage aerial and satellite activities are required for this position
- Excellent knowledge of English language (speaking and writing)
