Job purpose
Electrical Engineer with relative experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry, to maintain oil and gas plant equipment and facilities in good working operation and Improve equipment reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to the Engineering and maintenance readiness superintendent
- Participate in gathering all data required to prepare maintenance failure report
- Carry out sit visit to review and identify the actual information needed for corrective / pro-active maintenance report
- Issue MMCRF and MD’s form for materials required
- Carry out technical evaluation for all technical offers submitted in tendering process
- Contact with vendors/ manufacturers during tendering clarifications phase through buyer
- To co-ordinate with other disciplines during total and partial shutdown plant
- To assist in the coordination of all activities related to electrical maintenance engineering
- To ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the maintenance schedule
- To promote safe behavior always
- Willing to understanding of the fundamentals of electrical maintenance engineering, troubleshooting and RCA
- Have a capability to understand the relevant international codes and standards
- Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance status to supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Qualification:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Sc.)
- Proficient in the use of computers and basic software packages (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Ability to read, understand and adhere to standard operating procedures.
- 5+ years’ experience in Electrical Engineering in Oil and Gas Operations is required. Additional experience in the modernization of Brownfields facilities is a plus.
