HR Executive

mselect is seeking a dedicated HR Executive for a hospitality and catering client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the hospitality industry, and be fluent in English, Kurdish, and Arabic.

About the Role
As an HR Executive, you will oversee all aspects of human resources operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for people development and a deep understanding of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent. Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and oversee the onboarding process
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote employee engagement through various initiatives
  • Performance Management: Establish performance metrics, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching and development opportunities to employees
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage payroll, administer employee benefits programs, and ensure compliance with labor laws
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, develop training programs, and deliver training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations, including labor laws, health and safety standards, and data privacy requirements
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Data Analysis: Analyze HR data to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of HR programs, and make data-driven decisions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using HR software and tools
  • Fluency in English, Kurdish, and Arabic
