Job Purpose
The IT Deputy Business Manager is responsible for budget management, tender & contract follow-up, IT team administrative & focal point for the IT Team, assisting in finance management for all IT department contracts & projects, IT procurement supervision, assisting IT business manager for IT organization chart consolidation, IT hiring planning and recruitment direction; facilitating business needs of clients and stakeholders, and helping to determine feasible solutions to meet business needs or resolve business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Budget management, planning and traceability for the budget of the IMIT department
- Budget performance tracking, presentation and expenditure control
- Finance management for IMIT in compliance with company standards and guidelines
- IT procurement demand management
- Managing the business section application to ensure proper data and reporting to IT higher management
- Ensure proper data integrity for SAP-HANA and SAP Ariba
- Convert business requirements into functional solutions and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options
- Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Build positive relationships with clients, partners, associates and networks
- Communicate effectively with clients, networks and associates
- Participate in forming IMIT strategy and road map and assist the IT business manager in implementing this strategy
- Plan, and identify the scope and architecture for new IMIT services and solutions
- Support business objectives and goals
- Assist in internal & external business interface with other departments
- Help IT business manager for IT organization chart management,
- Work closely with stakeholders to build trust and understand their goals, motivations, constraints, risks, and operating environment
- Assist IT, business manager, in leading IT internal business projects
- IT department reporting focal point
- Create documentation to communicate management requirements and related information
- Create and present compelling business cases to justify solution value and establish approval, funding and prioritization
- Support longer-term business strategic goals by proposing improvements in value, cost, process, data, technology, and functionality, and initiating high-level business requirements and feasibility studies to discover options and directions
- Respond to organizational changes during ongoing activities
Requirements
- BSc Degree in Engineering, information management, Business management or Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT
- More than 10 years of relevant job experience within the Information Technology industry, and have Oil and Gas experience
- Cost and budget control experience
- Preferable Project management experience
- Proven ability to come up with innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities
- Good understanding of and demonstrable hands-on experience in all functional aspects of Cost Engineering including estimating, budgeting, forecasting, commitment control, change control
- MS Office: Excel (Advanced), Word (Intermediate), PowerPoint (Intermediate)
- English level – upper intermediate
