mselect is looking for an IT Services Delivery Lead for an international oil and gas operator in Erbil. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in IT. Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic is a must.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the development of and effective implementation of new systems and applications.

  • Ensure resolution of any service desk incidents and requests.

  • Support the infrastructure team to troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware and software faults.

  • Provide the IT Manager with KPI on systems infrastructure.

  • Manage the end users support teams.

  • Keep end users’ hardware inventory updated.

  • Manage end users’ hardware maintenance and ensure all the devices has a proper maintenance contract in place.

  • Issue and maintain company IT Guidelines, policies and procedures.

  • Deploy and maintain an ITSM application.

  • Generate and keep updated an IT knowledge base.

  • To keep the company printing system available and with a reliable consumables stock


QUALIFICATIONS
Education

  • Degree level in IT, Systems or Communications.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • At least 10 years’ experience in IT.

  • Previous experience as IT team manager preferable.

  • Previous oil industry experience preferable.

  • Onsite support or service desk experience.

  • Very good communications skills and manners.

  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

  • Self-motivated and able to prioritise effectively.

  • Demonstrated experience with Office 365 applications and Microsoft products.

  • ITIL certified preferable.

  • Fluency in English, Arabic and Kurdish.
