Key Responsibilities
- The incumbent is responsible for performing materials and equipment handlings for safe delivery of routine daily inspection, maintenance and preservation works for EPRS materials and equipment in EPRS facilities i.e. RLIC warehouse and Frame Storage Yard in the Port area It’s a member of a multi-discipline team, support in executing any EPRS emergency requirements by responding a safe and efficient manner
- Support material and equipment handling for the Inspection, maintenance, preservation and troubleshooting activities for the EPRS materials and equipment with routine warehouse inventory checks
- Support material and equipment handling to load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload EPRSC material to and from specified destinations
- Support vendors and contractors for effective and efficient execution within the schedule
- Ensure completion of QA/QC, HSE procedure and “Permit to Work” in place at work sites
- Follow all safety, environmental and regulatory rules applicable to the facility and complete Control of Work (CoW) requirements daily
- Responsible for identifying and knowing the tools, materials, and procedures before the execution of work
- Adhere to a culture of reliability and continuous improvement
- Ensure shift and crew-change handovers are accurately recorded in the appropriate log and comply with the Guidance and Shift Handovers
- Act as a member of the emergency response team and align with the responsibilities assigned as defined in the Emergency Response Plan Participate in emergency response exercises to ensure a full understanding of the process and procedures
- Responsible for the supervision of Loads, secures, transports deliver, and unloads of EPRSC material to and from specified destinations
Requirements
- Minimum Higher National Diploma from a recognized university
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Rigging & Lifting certification or similar is preferred
- Relevant experience in material warehousing, logistics procedures, and material handling and able to deal with and resolve day-to-day operations
- Computer literate
- Good command of the English language Shall read, write and speak fluent English
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with appropriate priority
- Self-starter/self-management/self-drive and ability to work without close monitoring
- Resilient under pressure (both internal and external)
- Strong ability to deal with competing priorities and complex issues
