Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute artisanal pastries for Cafe kiosks across the region
- Develop innovative and seasonal pastry offerings that align with Cafe's brand and customer preferences
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste consistency across all locations
- Manage inventory and ingredient sourcing to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Collaborate with the culinary team to optimize kitchen operations and maintain efficient workflow
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on pastry techniques and recipes
- Adhere to health and safety standards in food preparation and kitchen cleanliness
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Creative flair and passion for pastry-making with a strong understanding of flavour profiles and ingredient pairings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Culinary certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
